PREPARATION
COLON HYDROTHERPY
PREPARATION
Please prepare 72 hours leading up to your session by hydrating your colon throughout the day to ensure that you are well hydrated for your session. Eat healthy and nourishing foods leading up to your colon hydrotherapy session. We recommend you eat light and clean. Avoid fast food, fried foods, processed foods, and any meat if you can. The most important thing is to ensure you’re hydrating. The best form of water is H302, which you get from eating your fruits. If you have a juicer, we recommend you juice organic cucumber combined with green apples or watermelon alone. You can juice it; if you don’t have a juicer, you can blend it and strain it. You can also juice pineapple, blend the pineapple, add spring water to your blender, strain it, or use any fruit juice recipe of your choice. We recommend you drink at least 16 oz the day before your appointment and 16 oz the day of your appointment. This way, you will have a good session.
We inner-stand that this journey to health isn’t easy. If you end up not following through 100% on the recommendations, don’t be hard on yourself. You can still come in for your session. We do, however, want you to get the most out of your session, so please try your best to follow these instructions.
If you wish to go a few steps further, there are a number of additional foods recommendations you can eat to prepare for your colon hydrotherapy appointment. Include the following in your lifestyle:
- Raw fruits and vegetables (preferably organic)
- Salads with nuts/fruits
- Lightly steamed low starch vegetables, organic raw nuts and seeds
- Coconut oils, avocados, cold pressed plant oils such as olive oil and sesame oil.
Thank you for choosing us for your gut health journey.
CONSTIPATION
If you are extremely constipated on a regular basis and have difficulty eliminating, we will have to give you special instructions leading up to your appointment. In the event that you are extremely constipated and it’s difficult for you to pass and clogging occurs on the device, there will be additional fees, and we would have to cancel appointments and hire a plumber to resolve the issue. And because this will cost us, we will have to charge you. So please make sure to do your part. If you’re extremely constipated, call us immediately for instructions prior to scheduling your appointment.
You are Divine!
AFTER COLONIC
SESSION
After your colon hydrotherapy session, we recommend probiotics which are available to purchase. During your colonic session some good bacteria, along with bad may be eliminated from your colon. The probiotic will re-inoculate your colon with the good bacteria your need. You may want to sit and relax with us for some time after your session, and have a cup of tea until you feel you have finished eliminating and fully replenished your system as well as energy level.
We ask that you eat light, pure, and easy-to-digest foods for the remainder of the day. Try to stay away from raw, overly rich, and heavy foods. You just have cleansed your system we recommend you allow your body the time it needs to relax, rest, and replenish. You want to body to work to heal you, rather than go to work digesting heavy meals.
Some good sources of fiber include whole grains, chick peas lentils, nuts, and seeds. Steamed or grilled vegetables.
FRUIT
Fruits are among the best foods to eat after colonic. Fresh fruits are rich in fiber and water, both of which can help prevent constipation. Eat various fruits such as apples, pears, berries, and melons.
To really benefit your digestion and keep things clean, focus on fiber-rich foods like whole grains (such as quinoa, brown rice, amaranth, or millet), leafy greens and other veggies, and fresh fruits. Fruit juices and smoothies are okay too.
Fermented foods are also recommended, as they contain helpful probiotics that promote beneficial bacteria in your gut after a colonic. Those foods can include kefir, miso soup. And sauerkraut.
WHAT NOT TO EAT AFTER COLONIC
Coffee: Coffee is a diuretic and can cause dehydration. It can also irritate the lining of the intestines.
Alcohol: Alcohol can dehydrate the body and irritate the lining of the intestines. It can also interfere with the body’s ability to absorb nutrients.
Spicy foods: Spicy foods can upset the intestines and cause discomfort.
Avoid foods that are irritating and high in sugar, caffeine, or processed foods. Which includes junk food, food made with white flour or refined sugars, and dairy foods.
Tomatoes or citrus fruits (can cause problems for some people)
With anything you eat directly after a colonic, eat slowly and pay attention to your tolerance to the food. After a colonic is a great opportunity to notice any foods you might have an unknown sensitivity to, which can be helpful for avoiding unnecessary irritation down the road.
It is fine to carry on with your normal daily plans or return to work. You will feel absolutely fine. Most people feel energetic, light and in a very good mood after the session.
